sometimes it works
Sometimes you meet people and it just works. You might be a little different, you might like mexican food and they like sushi. You might like listening to music until your eardrums burst and they might like quiet nights with a candle and a podcast. You might like driving, and they want to be driven. You might be still trying to figure it out, and they know where it’s going. But it still works. There’s chemistry, there’s laughter, there’s smiles, and there’s love to go around. Life is a series of differences, that we’re all just trying to make up for in one way or another, because we all want connection. It could last an hour, a day, a week, or 5 years, but these connections are what make us so special. It’s about understanding the differences and adjusting for them. Before you know it, you’ll have shaped yourself into someone completely new, someone that you couldn’t have imagined, but someone you love just as much, and it just works. So don’t be afraid.
